About Us
Who We Are
SoccerPure is an independent guide to soccer training equipment for coaches, parents and players. We are a small editorial team led by Duncan Pellow, a youth soccer coach who has run sessions for school, academy and amateur squads for fourteen years. You can read more about him on the author page. Our readers include volunteer coaches buying their first set of cones, parents kitting out a young player and adult amateurs who train on their own. We write about the gear that makes regular practice possible, and we explain it in plain language, without hype or confusing jargon.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help people spend their training budget wisely. The market is crowded with balls, goals, cones and gadgets, and many of them look better in a product photo than they feel after a month of rain, mud and weekly use. We want to show which pieces genuinely make a session easier, which ones are safe for young players, and which ones are better left on the shelf. Every roundup, review and guide is written to answer a practical question that a real coach or parent would ask before buying. We also try to be honest about cost, so we point out when a simple, inexpensive option does the same job as a premium one.
Our Vision
We want every team and every player, from a Saturday youth squad to a solo backyard trainee, to have access to clear and trustworthy advice about equipment. Good training should feel organised, safe and enjoyable, and the right gear helps with all three. Our vision is a curated library of premium picks that coaches can rely on season after season, so that time and money go into coaching and playing rather than replacing worn out kit. As the site grows, we plan to keep the same careful standards, adding new topics only when we can cover them properly.
What You’ll Find on soccerpure.com
Our content is organised around the main groups of soccer training equipment. You will find roundups, reviews, informational guides, how-to content and resources covering Ball Pumps, Bags & Storage, Coaching & Team Equipment, Cones, Markers & Field Setup, Goal Nets, Anchors & Targets, Goalkeeper Equipment, Mannequins & Small-Sided Games, Shin Guards & Protective Gear, Soccer Bags & Backpacks, Soccer Balls and Soccer Footwear & Socks. Each group has comparisons that explain what to look for, what to avoid and how different products suit different ages, surfaces and budgets. Our how-to pages cover practical jobs such as anchoring a goal, laying out a training grid, caring for a ball and fitting shin guards. Resources such as sizing notes and checklists help you plan a purchase before you open a shopping cart.
Our Content Standards
We aim to keep every page accurate, useful and easy to read. Our recommendations are based on durability, safety, stability, ease of setup and value, and we explain our reasoning so you can judge it for yourself. We update guides when products change or when readers point out a mistake. Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, but this never changes our opinions or the order of our picks. We avoid medical claims and guarantees, and we encourage you to follow each maker’s instructions and ask a qualified professional when safety is a concern.
Cones are cheap until you replace a worn set every season, so check flexibility and stacking first.
